School Hours/Bell Times
School hours are as follows:
Nursery: 1:00 - 3:30 p.m.
Kindergarten: 8:55 - 11:30 a.m.
Grades 1-6: Morning: 8:55 - 12:00 p.m. Afternoon: 1:00 - 3:30 p.m.
Recess periods are held from:
Morning : 10:30 - 10:45 a.m.
Afternoon: 2:15 - 2:30 p.m.
All children from Grades 1 to 6 are expected to go outside for some exercise and fresh air during these periods. When the weather is nice Nursery and Kindergarten children are also taken out for a break just prior to dismissal.
The morning bell rings at 8:55 a.m. so that children are ready to begin classes at 9:00 a.m. All afternoon students enter at 1:00 p.m. and the school day ends at 3:30 p.m.
The lunch hour is from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
Playground supervision begins at 8:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. We request that students not be on the playground until adult supervision commences.
