Aboriginal Legends

When planning our aboriginal legends unit we knew we wanted to write legends after our study of them. We also wanted to involve both our classes so it was decided to have the students partner up and create a legend between them. Once the legends were finished, they need to be illustrated. We asked the grade 3 students at Robert H. Smith School if they would be interested in reading our legends and creating an illustration for each one. The final legends are now a cooperative effort of 3 students from 3 different classrooms.
