Once upon a time there was a girl named Tayaba. She was in a forest. She didn’t know that a tiger was in the tree. So she went to the river to get some striped fish. She didn’t know that the tiger loved striped fish. So she put the striped fish in her mouth. The tiger jumped on her and ate it. She was so mad when that awful tiger ate her striped fish. Then her big brother Sam came. He was magical! He saw the whole thing. He said,  "I am going to punish you because you took 28 striped fish from my sister. I am going to put 28 striped fish on your back". 

Now if you ever see a tiger you will see the stripes on it’s back. And that’s how the tiger got stripes on his back.
