Once a long, long time ago, there was a group of snails. There was also a big bad slug named Shaun. The leader of the group of the snails was named Nicolas. There was something weird about the snails. They had no slime. Then the slug appeared and laughed and laughed at the snails. He said, “You have no slime ha.” The slug told the snails that there is a magic mud pit. The slug showed them which way to go to the mud pit. But the snails went the other way because they thought the slug fooled them. The snails had never gone so far from the ocean shore. They went into a forest and heard a big thump. Then they heard another thump and a huge giant appeared. He took one of the snails and walked away and the snail saw the mud pit. There was a river around it. They looked all around the river and there was no way across it until a tree fell over. They went over it, but blocking the way was Shaun the slug. He said, “You’re never getting across the log.” The leader of the slugs fought the leader of the snails. The snail pushed the slug into the river. The snails sailed across on the log to the mud pit. They jumped into the mud. Then the wind started to blow. As soon as they jumped into the mud they felt different. When they got out they realized that they were slimy. The snails went all the way back to the shore. And that’s how the snails got their slime!
