WOULD YOU LIKE AN INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE? For the past several years Brock Corydon School has hosted Korean students in our Grade 4-6 classrooms. This has been done in conjunction with Jay Choi, Program Director of Hanwood Inc. who coordinates this English Immersion Program for Korean Students. With the approval of the Winnipeg School Division, Jay Choi seeks out host families and schools willing accommodate these students during the school year. The host family provides home stay for the visiting student (three meals a day and bedroom). The school provides a regular class experience for each student (one per class) and arranges a host family for the student (parents of a classmate of the same gender). Financial support is provided to the host family and the school. The host family receives $550.00 per month and the school receives $750.00 per month.
