Queenston Friendship Quilt

This project was a collaborative activity between Grade 4
and Grade 2 students. Each Grade 4 student used the MSW Logo
freeware to design a "patch" which was saved as a black & white
bit-mapped (BMP) image.

Each Grade 4 student was paired up with a Grade 2 team-mate.
The older student helped the younger child retrieve the
black & white patch image and assisted, when necessary,
in the colouring process using Windows Paint.  

Once the patches were coloured, each student in the team was
invited to add her/his initials and the results were saved.

The Grade 2 students used Notepad to write a paragraph entitled
"My Quilt Story" which can be accessed by clicking on any 
particular patch.
