The South District of the Winnipeg School Division is roughly located in an
area south of the Assiniboine River, east of Kenaston Blvd., west of the Red
River or Pembina Highway and north of Fort Garry and St. Vital. Please see
the maps for a detailed description of the district and school catchment areas.
The district contains 19 schools comprised of
thirteen Nursery to Grade 6 schools; one Nursery to Grade 8; one Grade 7-8;
three junior/senior high schools (Grades 7-12); and one high school (Grades
9-12).
These schools offer a wide range of programming options including: bilingual
and immersion programs; alternative and multi-age programs; gifted and talented
programs and all girls classes.
