Would We Move to the Great Lakes? 

These are the reasons why our families would move to the Great Lakes:
-The climate in the Great Lakes is warmer than in Winnipeg.
-My family like to fish and swim and they could do that in some of the  lakes there.
-There are ship wrecks to explore which is good because my family is very active.
-Sled dogs to watch in the winter, which is fun.
-BIG, sandy beaches for swimming at.
-Island picnics on lake Huron.
-The first main reason to move to the great lakes because it is an important transportation location.
-The second main reason to move to the great lakes because Wasaga beach is it has the longest fresh water beach.
-Diving and the largest fresh water fisheries are reasons my family would move to the Great Lakes.
-The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are in the CFL and they have hosted the Grey Cup.
-The water is really clean in the lakes.
-There are lots of activities.
-There are lots of beaches to go to.
-There are lots of festivals that happen.
-There are lots of parks to go to where you can play lots of games.
-There are lots of birds there and I would go bird watching.
-The water is cleaner then it was 50 years ago so my brother can  go -swimming in the lake.
-There are lots of fish so my mom can go fishing.
-There is no smoking in the restaurants.
-We would move to the Great Lakes because they have lots of different things to do.
-The climate is usually warmer in the Great Lakes.
-There are lots of good jobs there.
-We would move to Great Lakes because we can go fishing.
-There are lots of big cities are located in the Great Lakes area.
-The government is cleaning the Great Lakes.


These are the reasons why our families would not  move to the Great Lakes:

-The lakes are polluted there and sometimes you wouldn't be able to swim there or eat the fish.
-Acid rain falls there and destroys statues. The acid rain comes from chemicals used in manufacturing in the Great Lakes.
-The pollution there can cause deaths because it makes it hard for people to breathe.
-People dying in Windsor, Ont. because of pollution.
-Less fish to catch because of sea lamprey.
-It is hard to find the jobs I want.
-It is too crowded.
-The first main reason not to move to the great lake is because the lakes are polluted.
-The temperature is too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter.
-There is too much pollution in the air.
-There is pollution and no one will be able to breath in fresh air.
-The water is so polluted that the water is green and no fish can live in that water.
-The acid rain can be so strong it could peel your skin off.
-The traffic is bad there.
-The crime rate is high.
-The Great Lakes are polluted which has killed many fish.
