Sheldon Kennedy

Sheldon Kennedy is a hero because he started the Sheldon Kennedy Foundation for abused kids.

Early Life: 
He was born in Elkhorn , Manitoba June 15, 1969.   He played  hockey and was abused by his hockey coach.

Later Life: 
He has a wife named Jana and a daughter named Ryan.    The teams he played for
were the Blues, Swift Current, Detroit RedWings, Calgary Flames, Boston Bruins and the Manitoba Moose.  He is now playing in Germany.   

Accomplishments:
He raised more than 3 million dollars for the Sheldon Kennedy Foundation.  He roller skated from St. John's to Victoria and it took him 134 days.
