-North of Great Slave Lake
-105 kilometres northwest of Yellowknife
-Fort Rae created by the settlement of Rae to trade with the Dogrib people in 1852
-Today, Rae is the largest Dogrib community in the Northwest Territories
-17 kilometres from Rae, is where the government built Edzo in 1965
-Edzo is also occupied by the workers of the government
