-Prince Edward Island’s provincial flower is Lady's Slipper.

-Prince Edward Island is shaped like a crescent, or like a half moon.

-Prince Edward Island is one of the four Atlantic Provinces of Canada.

-Prince Edward Island is often called Garden of the Gulf.

-Prince Edward Island is the smallest of the Canadian provinces and the only island province.

-In 1799 the province was named for Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, the fourth son of King George the third of Great Britain.

-Prince Edward Island only has 1 lake and a few real rivers.
