Robin
One morning Ted woke up and looked outside. It was snowing! He put on his coat, boots, hat, mittens and scarf. He went outside to build a snowman.
He made one ball and another ball and another ball. He put them on top of each other. Biggest to smallest!
He ran inside to get a carrot, some stones, a hat and a scarf. He made a face of stones .The carrot was a nose .The hat was on his head. The scarf was on his neck.
Ted started to get cold so he went inside. When he came back his snowman was gone! He looked for it. He could not find it. He made a snow angle then he went back inside to go to sleep.
The next morning Ted woke up and looked outside. In the front yard he saw his snowman but instead of a happy face on his snowman he saw a sad face.
“ What’s wrong?” Ted asked. “ I lost my magic wand.” said the snowman. “You have a wand?” . Asked Ted. “Yes, I do,” said the snowman.
“Can you help me look for it?” asked the snowman. “Yes”, said Ted “Thank you,” said the snowman. “O.K. You start there and I’ll start over there,” said Ted. “O.K” said the snowman “Now lets get to work”.
They looked and looked but all they found was a little to truck that Ted have lost in the springtime.
They looked until it was time for Ted to go inside and go to sleep. The snowman fell asleep after Ted went inside because the snowman was too tired to look for his wand.
In the morning Ted got up to help his snowman find his magic wand but when Ted went outside the snowman was gone.
Ted went back inside. He looked back and the snowman was there. Ted asked, “Where were you?”
I was looking for my magic wand and guess what! I found it!” “Really,” said Ted. “Yes,” said the snowman. “Where was it?” “It was in the snow so nobody can find it.” |
