Once there lived a fish. It was wintertime. The water got cold and it turned to ice. The fish were not cold.

One day a fish swam away from home.

His name was Freddy.

He swam fast and jumped into the air. He landed on the ice. He was stuck. He could not move.

 A squirrel was walking by. He heard someone crying. He saw Freddy on the ice.

He asked, “What are you doing on the ice?”

“I was jumping when I landed on the ice.”

“ Can you help me!” the squirrel said

“Yes!”

The squirrel went on the ice.

He pushed Freddy into the water.

Freddy said, ”Thank-you and swam away. “

When Freddy got to his home his parents were happy. They were happy that he was home. Very happy! They gave him a hug. Plus a kiss.

They asked where he went. He said, “I got stuck on the ice. A squirrel saved me.” He smiled. He was happy to be home.

Then he went to bed. His parents kissed him goodnight. The End
