Once upon a time there was a dog named Brownie.  Brownie was a fun loving dog.  Brownie had an owner named Michael.  Michael got Brownie for a pet because he knew that Brownie would make a good friend.  Brownie was Michael’s pet for two years.

           January 16th is Brownie’s birthday. Brownie is going to be five years old.  He is going to be five in 22 days.  That means that today is December 24th.  Guess what?  Today is even Michael’s birthday.

  For Michael’s birthday Michael and his family with Brownie are going to eat at a place that Michael’s family really likes.  That place they is the Holybug .  They like that place because it has lots of good food.  When they went Michael fed Brownie his food.

 Brownie was really happy and full because of the yummy food that Michael gave for him. 

 Today is now January 1^st and it is now New Years!!  That means that there are only 15 days until Brownie’s birthday.   

On January 15^th Brownie past away.  He was getting too old.  Michael was so sad. He locked himself in his room. 

He did not want to eat because he always gave Brownie his food before he ate.

In a month or so he felt a little bit better.  Michael found new friends he can play with and lived happily ever after.  Michael kept Brownie’s stuff for when he feels sad.
