The Process

Our school librarian, Mrs. Dawson asked four students: Isiah, Richard, Dana, and Jordin if they would be interested in doing this little project.  We all of course replied, “Yes!”, and here we are. We first went over the poem and kept it for a few days to read and then create a storyboard to get a feeling about how the video should go. After that we went over it in a group and made our rough draft. We did not know exactly how to work a video camera, therefore our computer teacher Mrs. Gentes taught us.  A week later we went out during school to film our scenes. We went many places from churches to junkyards to famous restaurants to capture film for our video. We then went over our film and started creating a rough copy.
