I actually wrote the poem while riding in a
bus downtown, so I had the whole city around me. I love our city, but I think it
should be respected more. It is our home, after all.

I always loved writing poems. So when I heard
that we were writing a poem about Canada I thought it would be a challenge since
I don't really know much about Canada because I just got here 3 years ago. But
when I finished, I really liked the result.
