Shakespeare Festival
Sargent Park School's Shakespeare Festival commenced in December of 2002 when students began to study the classic Shakespearean text, Romeo and Juliet. Inspired by what they read and viewed, the students wanted to learn more about Shakespeare, and his times. Through a series of activities students were able to learn Shakespearean dances, research Shakespearean music, view and create Shakespearean costumes and make crafts based on the times.
