Make A Goblet
Materials: Aluminum foil or foil wrapping paper Scissors Plastic cup, 4 inches tall Double sided tape
Instructions: 1. Cut a piece of foil 12 inches across and 24 inches long 2. Using the plastic cup as a mold, place the cup at one corner of the foil, aligning the top of the cup with the edge of the foil, and then loosely wrap the foil around and around the plastic cup. Pinch the foil at the bottom of the cup to create a stem. 3. Remove the cup. 4. Tape the two loose ends of the foil to itself, inside the goblet and outside too. 5. Pinch the goblet to create the stem of the goblet. Leave enough foil to create a base. 6. Flatten the remaining foil into a base.
Optional: Wrap the foil around the stem and base of the goblet in a different color than you used for the top, or line the inside of the goblet with a contrasting color. Also, if you want to make a smaller goblet, use half or three-quarters the amount of foil and a smaller cup. If you want to make miniature goblets, take candy wrappers and, using your fingers as a guide, create the goblet shape by shaping the wrappers |
