Historical Fiction Canada has a rich tradition of historical fiction. You can find books that capture the lives of Canadians during all kinds of events: the battle of Batoche, life in New France, residential schools, early settlement of the prairies, and so many others. Canadian authors have even written of the impact of world-wide events, such the Holocaust, Tianamen Square Massacre and WWI/WWII. Take a look at the reviews for books that might interest you, or see if you agree with the reviews of books you have already read. Feel free to add your comments and place a vote for your favorite by giving it a ranking, (out of 5 stars for the best) which you feel is appropriate. At the end of this school year, we will tabulate the results and post the winners on our site!
