Wash rice 1 hr. before cooking. Drain well. Soak shitiake in water until softened, cut into strips. Pour boiling water over the ageh to wash off excess oil. Cut carrots, konnyaku and ageh into thin strips about 1" long. Cut chicken into 3/4 inch pieces. Mix soya sauce, sake, sugar, salt and ginger in a pot and bring to a boil. Add chicken ,shiitake ,konnyaku ,and ageh and cook for a few min. Put rice and other prepared ingredients with about 4 c. of water into a pot and cook as ordinary rice . Steam well.
