In the beginning of the story Greta had always loved the fog. She
knew her way through the fog inside out. Greta went into the barn and
called her father for dinner. She saw a house through the fog. Father
talked to her. He was milking the cow
In the middle of the story Greta met a lady called Mrs. Morril. They
talked and talked and then out of nowhere a carriage came out of the
fog. They went into the carriage. The horses climbed up the mountain.
They reached the house of Mrs. Morril. She said it was so good to be
twelve. She asked, "Are you twelve?"
At the end of the story Greta went to Mrs. Morril’s house. She had
arrived and she opened the door and saw Mrs. Morrill in the kitchen. She
was so excited to see her because it was her birthday. She said in
excitement, "I’m twelve years old." Mrs. Morril wasn’t
feeling excited. She said, " You can have this kitty."
She walked unhappily to her dad. He was asking, "Why are you
sad?" She didn’t answer. They talked about the kitten and took a
walk until they reached the lights. This is my favorite part because it
reminds me of Christmas of the giving. When Retha’s father gave them
the eggs it reminded me of when I got "a hey you pickachu". I
played with it for six hours. I never will forgot it.
I picked this as my favorite part because of the chapter in the book.
I like how they set up the background at the beach. Then how they
described the eggs.
