Claymations 3

Beans On The Roof

By Betsy Byars

In the beginning George told his mother that Anna was on the roof. Then his mother said not to shout. Then his mother said that she knows that Anna is on the roof. George said that they’re not suppose to play on the roof. Then his mother said that she is writing a poem.

In the middle George wanted to write a poem too. So he went on the roof. He couldn’t think of one. Then he thought of one and wrote it down. His poem wasn’t good.

At the end the whole family had a poem. They had to recite their poem. The dad was singing his poem. Then the mother said not to sing loud. She was nervous.

My favourite part was when Anna was saying her poem on the roof. She was writing a roof poem. The poem sounded beautiful and nice. She wasn’t done yet, so then she finished her poem. Her brother George was trying to make a poem too, but he couldn’t think of one. Then after supper George wrote his own poem. His poem was about him on the roof. His poem was good too. Then everyone had a poem.
