In the beginning there is a girl named Fanny who is the
main character. She has a friend named Millie and they both go to the
same school . One day Fanny ’s dad asked if she and her brother, Jim
and Millie, would like to go skating. They went. When they came back
from skating Fanny‘s uncle and dad were talking about fairies and
other fictional stuff from books. Fanny did not like her village’s
name which is Famish Gut. Then Fanny got an idea .
In the middle I drew a letter because Fanny wrote that
she would like to change the name of her town. The next day the
government wrote back it said : " I changed the name but I can’t
think of a name " . When Fanny went to bed she kept saying over and
over the word "Fairy Glen" .
The next thing I drew was a hockey stick, a puck and
skates and also an ice rink that had an " X " over it. I drew
the rink turned into water because there was no more ice because it was
summer. Then I drew baseball stuff since the ice rink melted they just
played baseball.
At the end I drew old skates and new skates because when
winter returned Fanny tried her old skates and she forced and forced but
still they did not fit . Now she had new skates. The other thing I drew
was Fanny and Millie running to school. I drew that because Millie and
Fanny were going to be in grade six . Then Fanny had a tournament and
her team won.
Panel # 4 is my favourite because Fanny never changed
the village’s name. She wanted to name it " Famish Gut Hero
" because Fanny ‘s grandpa and dad saved two men in a shipwreck .
It also reminded me of when my brother saved my rabbit from the street -
that was when I was a kid.
