In the beginning of the novel I drew Greta looking for
their cow and she found a house at the Old Road. She has never seen this
house before. It was foggy. When she found their cow she went home and
asked her father about the house. Her father said he hadn’t seen any
house on the Old Road.
When they picked berries and ate lunch at the woods I
drew when they saw the girl running. They saw a girl and ran after her
but she suddenly disappeared. They went home and Retha told her parents
about the girl. Then they told Greta who was the girl and why she is on
the woods.
At the end Retha’s mother gave Greta Princess’
kitten as a present for Greta’s birthday. What happen was that Greta
forgot her sweater and had to get it. When she got back she went to Blue
Cove and said goodbye and thank you. That is when Retha’s mother gave
the kitten to her. She showed her father the kitten and named it Wisp.
My favourite part was when Greta saw the house. It was
my favourite part because I thought the book was boring but it got
exciting when she saw the house. It was when Greta was looking for their
cow. It is just like the beginning. I like it because I like books and
it is exciting. The story was sort of sad.
