In the beginning Cassandra is walking to school. When
she gets to school there is a new kid there. Cassandra wants to ask the
new girl to be her best friend. Cassandra could only say the words in
her head not out loud.
In the middle Cassandra finds a big piece of driftwood.
When she finds the driftwood it is in the bay beside a wharf. It is too
big and heavy so Cassandra gets her dad to help get the driftwood out of
the water. Cassandra’s dad was going to put it back in the water. Then
he saw the look on Cassandra’s face.
In the end the driftwood was put on a pile of wood by
teenagers. Cassandra ran up that pile of wood and saved the driftwood.
She got a couple of teenagers to help her get down from the pile of
wood. The teenagers' hotdogs had sand in them. Then they all watched the
wood get burned.
My favorite part was when all of the wood went on fire
because I like fire and it sounds cool when things get on fire. I think
the flames look nice. It was a really big fire. The flames were really
really big.
