Lunch Program
In the Winnipeg
School Division, parents are responsible for Lunch Programs. At our
school, Penny Trudel and Cheryl Holmes run this program and hire
employees to look after the students.
The Lunch program commences
on the first day of classes for those students enrolled in grades 1 to 6. Microwave ovens are available to
heat lunches, and milk is included in the fees. The fee schedule and applications for the
lunch program may be picked up at the school office if you have not received one in the
mail. If you have any questions about the program, please leave a message at the
school (488-1137). Either Penny Trudel or Cheryl Holmes, Lunch Program
Supervisors, will contact you.
Lunchroom students -
a) are expected to show respect and courtesy to the staff and to other children.
b) are expected to respect school property and help to clean up after lunch and
activities.
c) who misbehave will have parents notified with written misbehaviour warning, notice or
suspension according to the contract signed with the lunch program.
d) are expected to eat at the school each day and to remain on the school grounds for
those days for which they are registered unless they have written permission from their
parents to leave.
