The Great Bison Hunt
By Rory

Many years ago there was a great hunt for bison and the people of the Red Tipi tribe were preparing for the large feast of bison. The tribe knew that it was going to be a large feast because there was a large herd of bison who were travelling to a forest nearby.

When the bison arrived, the tribe sharpened their spears and hopped upon their horses and galloped off to the location of the bison herd. Soon they spotted the herd and began to throw their spears. But as the first spear was cast a golden bison appeared in front of the spear, the spear broke as it touched the golden bison. The bison said, "Do not kill my children or it will cause you harm." So the tribe walked back to the camp and had a feast of rabbit instead.
