One summer day long ago there was a young orphaned girl named Kachina. Kanchina was doing her chores like any Aboriginal girl would do but she had to do them by herself. Kachina was 11 years old but orphaned at the age of 2. Kachina lived in a beautiful tipi with all the colours painted on it. Kachina often got teased because of her tipi and she was an orphan. Kachina often thought she got teased because they were jealous of her tipi.
