How The Caribou Got Its Antlers

Once long ago there was a peaceful village in one of the little huts there lived a family, a girl named Kayla and her parents. One day Kayla went for a walk. Kayla saw a pile of sticks and brought them home to her family. Kayla told her mom that she brought the sticks home. Her mom told her that when she was Kayla’s age she too gathered up sticks and made them into a weird looking mask. Her mom showed it to her. Kayla thought it was a great idea so she started to make a mask. Kayla had an idea, she found her two biggest sticks and put one at each side. Kayla thought it looked like an elk. She left the eye holes empty. Then panted the hole mask brown and the little nose black. Kayla put the mask on and danced around the campfire. She loved the mask and played with it for many moons. Kayla thought that she should go to see loon. Loon would make things magical. So she went to the steam to see loon. She asked him if he could make the mask magical. So when you put it on you could not take it off. Loon said, ‘Sure but first you have to go on a quest to find the magic spear’’. ‘Where will find it’’? He gave Kayla a map and marked The place wear Kayla would find the spear. Kayla said, thats on the other side of the world’’. I know said loon. Kayla said fine I will do that if it is the only way to make my mask magical’’. kayla went home and tooled her family that loon was sending her on a journey. Kayla’s mom said is there eny other way to get the spear? ‘no’’said Kayla. ‘I will pack my bags’’. ‘When will you be back? her dad asked.’’I think about in there years. Ok. Becarful said Kayla’s mom. Kayla left. It had been a year and a half when Kayla said I am half way through my trip and I’ve found the spear. I am now leaving to go home to my family and to get my mask. she had finally sailed across the seas and I stopped at a wiard looking house on the land.She went inside and there was an old witch. She wanted me to triad her the spear for a rock. But I said know. So I left and she was chasing me then finally lost me. I went back in my Cano. And started to go home. It was dark and misty that night. Kayla was finally went home. She immediately went to the stream to see lone. Kayla gave loon the spear. Loon turned into a human and made the mask magical. Kayla said why did you turn into a humanoid? Well it’s a long story ok. Well I should go know by. Kayla took the mask and in the the mooring her mom reminded her not to put the mask on. She did as she was tooled. In the afternoon she went for a long walk throe the forest with her mask. Kayla sat down beside a tree and thought what will I do with this mask? She decided to put the mask on a animal with out antlers. She wanted to put it on a caribou. She saw a caribou walking by so she put the mask on the caribou and the caribou had antlers that could not come of. She was so happy she dissided to make more and put them on other Caribou. And thats how Caribou got there antlers.
