Homework for the November
26th, 27th and 28th weekend:
1) Read 30 minutes
( we will be starting to record our reading minutes next week. We will
review how to do this in class on Monday)
2) Spelling due on Monday

3) Grade 6 students who were playing volleyball this week have until
Monday at 3:30p.m. to hand in their Name poem and their postcard. The
poem should be typed and the postcard should be in the phone code. There
will be 45 minutes on Monday for these students to work on this
assignment.
Everyone else these were due today.
4) Practice the Winter concert dance (the sequence we know so far is
below)
We are dancing to Stayin`Alive by the Bee Gees to represent
the 1970s era. Anyone who can bring props for costumes please bring them
to school by Friday December 5th. Thank you to those students who have
already brought some great stuff!

1) 4 steps forward starting with the left foot
first. At the end touch the right toe to the ground
2) 4 steps back starting with the right foot
3) Side Slide (rows 1&3 go left first, row 2 goes
right) Count is 1 snap fingers
3 clap hands
4) Side Slide the other way (rows 1&3 go right,
row 2 goes left) count is 1 snap 3

5) 4 steps forward (same as number 1)
6) 4 steps back (same as number 2)
All the students deserve a pat on the back for working so hard this week
on the dance!!! It is going to be great!
