WSD Union Catalogue Help

The Winnipeg School Division Union Catalogue contains all items catalogued electronically by Library Support Services after 1990.  Also included are all records that have been retrospectively converted for automated schools and the entire holdings of the LSS Reference and AV Libraries.

Any employee or official of The Division is a client of LSS and must borrow directly from Library Support Services.  To book LSS resources electronically, go to Online Booking.

School library staff may post these lists and the list of General Material Designators near workstations used to search the Union Catalogue.

Inter-School Library Loans

Inter-school library loans within WSD will be accomplished by school library staff by copying and pasting records for requested items into an e-mail to be sent to the generic library e-mail address of the school library holding the item(s).

Please note that not all videos are available for inter-library loan.  Videos with loan restrictions are indicated in the "Details" view of the record.  Please consult this information before requesting videorecordings through ILL.

Inter-Library Loans Outside The Winnipeg School Division

The LSS Library Resource Centre collection circulates to borrowers outside The Winnipeg School Division by inter-library loan only.  Members of the public may request inter-library loan of these items by contacting any member library of the Manitoba Library Consortium to which they belong.  Member agencies of the Manitoba Library Consortium will transact the inter-library loan with the LSS Library Resource Centre (Fax:  783-9628).

Items from the AV collection are not available for ILL due to limitations imposed by public performance rights licensing.
