SUMMARY:   Dating violence is  serious problem affecting one in every five girls. This program features a yearly county wide symposium to raise awareness and educate both sexes. Attended by nearly 300 diverse teens, the highlight is a group of peer educators who perform vignettes and then answer in character to questions raised by audience members who also give advice. SUMMARY:  A stand-alone series of six modules with helpful on-screen text guides to assist with discussion and activities intended to promote a classroom discussion about the nature of social conflict in friendships, especially among girls. Each 5-10 minute module explores a different facet of social bullying ranging from what the behaviour looks like, to the role of power and control, to the consequences for the bully, the victim and the bystander. SUMMARY: 
This program broadens the definition of violence for teen audiences to include many of the things that can cause a violent reaction. Violence is not just the sensational murders that appear on the front pages and television but rather behavior that's all too typical, from sarcasm and spreading rumors to sexual harassment and bullying. Teen viewers get a message that they can understand and act on.
