Details:

This lesson allows students to create a graphical menu which is used to load new pages into a browser window. This results in more esthetically pleasing pages because a "picture" is used as oppossed to a text based menu.

This lesson uses AOL Press to create the image map as it is a freeware HTML editor and is the predominant editor used in The Winnipeg No. 1 School Division.

This lesson assumes that you have an image which is to act as the clickable image map. As well, a basic understanding of AOL Press would be an asset.
