Details:

The students will open the word processor file containing the instructions and questions. They can then open the browser. By moving from one program to the other, the URL can be copied and pasted into the browser to open the page containing information on the Red River Settlement. After reading the information, the students will move back to the word processor file and answer the questions. When they are finished, they will use the “save as” command to save their work.

Included are sample questions used for the first lesson in this series. Classroom teachers can pose their own questions to the students after reading all of the information available.
