Students will practice the "Shortcut Keys" to format a document that deals with
time, i.e. minutes, hours, days, months and years.

This activity may be shared across a network. The file may be stored on the server under S:\2Student. Open Microsoft Works and open the file "Exploring Time". Once opened, students should save their work to a disk or hard drive. Remind students to save their work often!

SECTION 1:
Students may choose to drag and drop OR copy and paste the correct answer to its location.
TO DRAG:
Highlight the number.
Place the mouse on the number.
Press and hold down the left mouse button.
Drag the number to the correct location.
SECTION 2:
1. Students should correct the spelling of the misspelled months. Once complete,
they should then use "Spell Check" to check for accuracy.
2. Use the Copy and Paste command OR Drag and Drop to place the months in their correct
order.
TO COPY AND PASTE:
Highlight "January"
EDIT
COPY
Place "January" next to Number 1.
EDIT
PASTE
Continue this process with the remaining 11 months.
Once completed, students are to use "Print Preview" to view their work.
