Details:
Create a template similar to the one below in a word processor.

1.  Discuss "Acceptable Use" on the Internet with the students.
2.  Make an agreement with each student that he/she will not pursue inappropriate material.
3.  Open Internet Explorer / Netscape Navigator.
4.  A bookmark folder containing search engines should previously have been bookmarked.
5.  Demonstrate how to access the bookmarks.
     i.   Click Bookmarks
     ii.  Click Searches
     iii. Click on a search engine eg. Yahoo, Alta Vista, Web Crawler, Magellan, etc.
     iv.  Type in a query eg. Dairy
      v.  A response informing you of the number of hits will appear.
     vi.  Click on the site you wish to explore.
6.  Look for information about dairy products.
7.  Copy and paste selected quotes into the above document.
8.  Copy the URL (uniform resource locator) eg. www.wsd1.winnipeg.... and paste it under bibliography
