One self correcting activity is
offered in this software package. When an error is made, the letter will not
“stick” but will return to its place of origin.
the Info section, “When a child plays the game, a word will appear with
blank spaces for the 1st two letters. There are 7 letters to choose from
for the first of these spaces - b, c, d, f, g, p and t. After the first
letter is successfully chosen (by dragging the letter to the space), 2
choices for the second letter will appear, to be put into the second space.
It helps that, in English, the second letter has only two possibilities 'l'
software does not seem to lend itself to a checklist and might be best used
at “face value”. However, teachers may want students to indicate how many
“plays” students have had, so students could to be directed to record, with
a check mark or a sticker, a completed “play”. The example has space to
indicate ten “plays.”
