Counseling

Our cousellor provides the services of personal, career and educational counselling. She also arranges for speakers on various topics of educational and personal interest to students. Parents are invited to contact the counsellor with any concerns re their children.

School Nursing Services

The Public Health Nurse (PHN) can be reached on an on-call basis.

Lost and Found

Found articles are placed either in our Immersion office or upstairs in the Students' Office.

Library

The Churchill complex enjoys having two libraries: a French Immersion Library located in the Immersion section of the building and an English language library located on the upper floor. Both house a wide variety of learning materials as well as providing quiet, attractive places for students to work.

Cafeteria

Provides hot and cold snacks ans meals at reasonable prices. The cafeteria does not have help hired to clean up after the students. Students are asked to place all refuse in garbage bins and recyclable cans in boxes provided. Everyone's cooperation is needed to keep the cafeteria tidy, and an enjoyable place for all.

Telephone

Pay phones for students are available by the main entrance, beside the senior gym. The school phone is to be used for school matter only. Please refrain from leaving messages for students unless they are urgent.

Computers and the Internet

Students, under teacher supervision, have access to computers in different areas of the school. To use the internet, students must read the Network Acceptable Use policy and have their parents/guardians indicate on the registration form their permission for access to the internet.

Radios

Cellular phones and pagers are not allowed in the classrooms and library. The use of Walkmans/MP3s is left to the discretion of the teacher/librarian.

Visitors

Visitors must report to the school office.
