EVENTS & ACTIVITIES
-
On October 17 we involved the whole school in a
STAND UP SPEAK
OUT
event where the whole school stood up for a minute and recited a
poverty pledge. We were part of an attempt to set a new world record
for the most people standing up for a cause in a 24 hour period.
Makepovertyhistory is the group behind this event, and we hope
to break last year's record of 49,000 Canadians and 23.5 million
people worldwide participating in this event.
