Get your information quicker and through this collection of IT sources.  Please note that the 'current readings' and forecasts are not always the same between the different reporting sources. Many are handy in planning outdoor activities as they give extra useful weather resources. Find Information such as the precipitation and cloud cover plus the conditions for  the Manitoba regional / rural sites and south of the border conditions when weather patterns are moving northerly.

The following "Intellicast" websites offer exclusive IT resources that show the Winnipeg conditions. These sites can be helpful in planning outdoor activities when the weather moves in from the West, South and East.  On several occasions, the EC weather office has not forecast information about storms moving up from North Dakota until they are actually well into Manitoba and as a result field trips and outdoor events away from school have been affected.  As you become familiar with these new IT resources, you will be able to visually see the weather precipitation before it arrives in the Winnipeg and Red River Valley.
