Intel QX3 Computer Microscopes
November 7, 2001 - The Intel QX3 Computer Microscopes from last year and the year before will not run on a Windows 2000 Professional computer. However there is a upgrade CD available for free for the first order only. This CD will enable the microscope to run on a Windows 2000 workstation. If schools run into this problem, they should order the upgrade CD for their individual school (URL below). If one orders a microscope today, they should make sure it is an Intel QX3 "Plus" Computer Microscope. This version comes with the software for all operating systems.
